Clutches

For my Wedding on August 11, 2012, my wedding colors were eggplant and burgundy.  The bridesmaids wore eggplant.  I wanted to get my bridesmaids a gift that was personal.  I looked over all the "personalized" gifts you could get with their names in them but I felt that wasn't good enough.  I perused numerous pictures of clutches on the internet and came to the conclusion that I could just make them myself to match the bridesmaid's dresses.  Here are some pictures of the clutches I made for my five bridesmaids and the burgundy one I made to match my shoes.   I was pleasantly surprised with how awesome they came out and realized that no one else would be able to see my vision.

Group shot of all six clutches.

The eggplant clutches with views of the flower and the eggplant satin on the inside.

And my burgundy clutch with burgundy satin on the inside!

And a close up of the flowers I made for the clutch.

I think I might begin making clutches and bridal clutches for Etsy.  The fabric and color combinations are endless.  Let me know what you think!

My Engagement Pictures

After getting engaged in February, I quickly began researching wedding photographer's online.  Besides the reception and ceremony site, I thought that this was the most important aspect of the wedding because after I'm done throwing away extra favors and table linens I'll have a collection of pictures to document my wedding.  After scouring the internet, I came across a photographer in Harrisburg, PA, and after viewing his work, my decision wasn't too hard from there.  Here are a collection of my favorite engagement photos by Thomas Beaman of Thomas Beaman Photography.  We shot at the Hershey Hotel in Hershey, PA.  The backdrop was perfect.  It was raining the night before and in the morning but luckily it stopped just in time for us to get in our pictures.

Love the contrast of colors.  Red, blue, and black.  We didn't mean to be patriotic...
Brandon wore his dress blues to compliment my red dress and crazy high heels.  FYI, these heels were six inches at least.  I'm used to wearing heels but not that I high and I could not walk in them at all.  I only wore them for about 15 minutes but my feet hurt immensely afterwards.

Backdrop of the walkway behind the Hershey Hotel, with beautiful ponds and columns.  There were many tulips planted between the bushes.  I like this picture to the right because Brandon is trying so hard to kiss me lol.
I found this tree with gnarled limbs and wispy branches and needed to have pictures with it!

Love this picture!

Very happy with the photographer's work.  Can't wait for him to photograph the wedding on August 11, 2012.
